USMC active duty looking to lat move and go reservist?

I am a cpl in the USMC i have a little under a year and a half till my contract is up and i want to lat move to combat engineer or to artillery my question is how hard would it be to lat move to those mos in the reserves. and my next question is the closes combat engineer unit to wear i will be living is 2 states away if i pay out of pocket to fly there for drill weekends would that be a problem and i just want to know what those to mos are like on the reserves side. o and im on my wife's account just sayin
