How long does it take for bct discharge?

Im not entirely sure why he is being discharged, but my boyfriend is being sent home from army bct. He has had his gear taken and is not allowed to train so he definately is coming home. His drill sergant gave the oh so specific time period of "soon". Any idea of how long it might take for him to actually get on a plane?
