Living by yourself after High School?

I was just wondering what are the benefits of moving out of your parents' house into your own apartment or house? (Not personal benefits like alone time, or t.v. to yourself and stuff, but benefits such as Governmental benefits, financial benefits, College Benefits ETC.)
