Philips projection TV problem.?

I got a Philips projection TV given to me and the picture is red and the letters and numbers are kinda blurry. Does anyone know what's wrong with it? I have tried all of the onscreen options and nothing works. It has a flat screen, I don't know it's a flat CRT or what though. It looks newer but they take pretty good care of their stuff so I don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
