Is FAFSA going to cut my financial aid for next year?

I just got a summer job in a governmental company and since this is my first job I am a little concerned about next year's financial aid towards my college tuition when I'm going to tell FAFSA that I am making money. What is the chance that they will cut my financial aids? If so, I would make money but then I would have to pay more for college making work pointless and a complete waste of effort and time except for the fact that I would get some experience. Am I getting this right? Can anybody help? Thanks.
